This old world keeps spinning round

ahhhh!!!! I can't get this song out of my head after our walk today.....
Neil Young- Comes A Time Farm Aid '86
While Neil Young sings "Oh, this old world keeps spinning round",
come for a walk with me....
Comes a time when you're driftin'
Comes a time when you settle down
Comes a light feelin's liftin'
Lift that baby right up off the ground.....
a light feelin s liftin
My love - he is watching the sea after we walked the 40 minutes in the shade of the forest.
my love
right up off the ground
Think of those moments when you laugh and gasp into the wind to catch your breath... there is no place you would rather be and no one you would rather be with. You are thankful that you are you and that you are in this body world.
Oh, this old world keeps spinning round
It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down
There comes a time...
There comes a time
Fall is soft, damp and languishes in its approach to winter on the southwest coast of Canada.
You and I we were captured
We took our souls and we flew away
We were right we were giving
That's how we kept what we gave away...
brachen fern angels wings
When we stop and look up....
Oh, this old world keeps spinning round
It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down
There comes a time...
It s a wonder tall trees ain t layin down
There comes a time....

Help

Terrill - That was a feast for the eyes – thank you. And what a wonderful photograph of David. That would make a great author's photograph on a book jacket!
this has always been a great favourite of mine… comes a time, comes a time.
here is another video of him doing the song, on the Isle of Wight

Thanks Laurie… you are right, not sure he is wanting to write anything though - maybe later.
Nicole thanks for the additional link… nice to see something that holds true through the years.
In listening to Nicole's link I found an extremely fitting short (3:55) interview by Charlie Rose of Neil Young from 2008 where Young talks a little about having survived a brain aneurysm and a lot about the trees and forest being his church…

that aneurysm was quite a scare. he is such a special guy…
eh is true… he creates such common ground around human experiences.
Terrill this is a great blog. Makes me want to go there. I love the sea in all its forms. The ocean where I live is mostly a summer sea, a warm weather sea, but I do love the wild cold and treacherous seas as well. Different faces all so invigorating.
Laurie is right. That is a beautiful photo of David.
