For the Love of Lavender

Lavender

Leadership is about more than vision, inspiring teams and meeting your objectives. Leading with brilliance is also about knowing when and how to slip out of the office and into the rest of your life....

Late in July I huffed my way up a long hill on my bike to see my daughter waiting for me at an intersection with a splended view of the Damali Lavender Farm. We grinned at each other and I pulled my camera out of her backpack (she had decided that I needed to travel light for our 26 km ride up the hills and down the valleys on our circular route between Shawnigan Lake and Mill Bay [on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada] - and she was right but I did it!!!!

Damali Lavender Farm

Lavender and its many uses is a personal favourite on my herb list.

I would love to hear about your experiences with lavender (both good and bad) and about any links that you recommend "for the Love of Lavender."

Also, what delights took you out of the office and into the rest of your life this summer?

warm regards,

"Oh!" I said.

All is forgiven. I will fix the fence and plant again in the spring.
